Versace + H&M = ...
Yes it´s true... Donatella Versace is the next great designer selected for doing an affordable line for H&M. It seams that it was not an easy process... in 2008 Donatella said that she respects designers who do these lines but didn't want to do one herself. In her words "I work very hard to put the Versace line in the luxury section. I think to put the Versace line in H&M would confuse the brand." Well, the confusion was avoided, H&M just had to show the "green ones" and a new line as an "Iconic Collection" has born. Donatella Versace said recently "I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching its wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere."
The collection combines women, men and homewear designs. The womenswear segment will be dominated by dresses that express the spirit of the season, featuring studded leather, silk and colorful prints, and accessories including high heels and costume jewelry. The men’s collection will focus on sharp tailoring, including the perfect tuxedo, as well as belts and jewelry for men. For the first time in a designer collaboration at H&M, the collection will include homeware pieces including pillows and bedspread.
H&M has not released any specific information on pricing, but that studded leather dress will not be H&M cheap. Versace cheap maybe, but not H&M cheap.
Now we just have to wait until November 17...

Music Meets Fashion
Once in a while fashion and music make contact and by this fusion results an Icon. Only a few artists get this status and it's very hard to keep it for a long time but it's possible. So to be a real mass artist, a super star singer, it's essential to put fashion in the equation. There are some known names in the spotlights as Madonna and of course Lady Gaga but let me introduce you a new rising star called Oh Land.
Her real name is Nanna Oland Fabricius and she is a Danish artist that starts her work in 2008 with a firts album named 'Fauna' and since then she is conquering her spot in the world of music. Currently she is living in the USA in NY and she is promoting her new album 'Oh Land'.
This unique performer understands very well how important and powerful fashion is as a way to communicate her message and step up her own individuality as an artist.
I'm so addict into this album that I just can´t stop listening it and it makes me wanna dance and enjoy the music. Very great work... uau...
